Ultra High Voltage Ceramic Power Resistor
Type CE & CH - High Impulse Voltage Resistors
CE and CH have a large thermal capacity, featuring unsurpassed strength against impulse voltage . These non-inductive resistors are ideal for applications shown below.

Typical Applications:
Impluse generators, charge-discharge of capacitors, X-ray generators, protection of electrostatic dust collectors, protection of rectifiers, dummy load, high-frequency circuits, surge absorbtion, grounding resistance, nuclear fusion devices, high-voltage circuits.
CE & CH CHARACTERISTICS:
Resistance tolerance: 5, 10 & 20% Load life stability (500h): ±7% max.
Working temperature: 230 °C Bulk density: 2.65
Temperature coefficient:-0.15%/ °C max. Specific heat: 0.15~0.3cal/g °C
Voltage coefficient: -5%kV/cm max.
For specific resistance of 3000 •cm
or lower, refer to below
Short time overload: ±2% max.
(10 times of rated power for 5 sec)
Withstand voltage:5kV/cm max. (1.2x50usec) Short time allowable injection energy: 90J/cc max.
Max. operating temperature: -55°C to +250 °C

CE2 thru CE5 will be supplied with lead wires.

CE10 thru CE270 will be supplied with caps or terminals.

CH20 thru CH100 supplied with caps only.
If the resistor is to be used in oil, please advise when placing an order. The resistor will be supplied with oil-resisting coating durable at operating temperature of 85 °C maximum.

While the resistance values available currently are as shown above, those frequently ordered are now standardized. The resistors with the standard resistance values will be supplied with a shorter delivery.
