Ultra High Voltage Ceramic Power Resistor
TYPE IX - INDIRECT WATER COOLING
The IX resistor is designed to be indirectly cooled with water running through the water-cooled block assembled on both sides of the resistors. In view of the current trend to exploit the large power circuits with semiconductors, demands are increasingly getting higher for non-inductive resistors with a compact design but a large energy capacity. IX resistors connected in series or in parallel will comply with the requirements on the voltage and current load.

Typical Applications:

Individual resistor: ASW7515 Thermal expansion coefficient: 4~7X10-6
Element dimensions: Ø7XØ20X15tmm Max. working temperature: 250°C
Bulk density: 2.2~2.7 Allowable injection energy: 10kJ max.
Specific heat: 0.15~0.3cal/g°C max. Allowable current: 800 A max.
Thermal conductivity: 0.003cal/cm.sec.°C max.
Stainless steel hose joints shown above or Swageloks can be assembled.
