| Wirewound: Premium grade resistance wire is wound on a woven fiberglass core. Tinned copper terminals are tightly crimped or welded (depending on resistance value) to the banded core. The wound unit is potted in a high quality Steatite Ceramic case using high temperature, high thermal conducting inorganic potting compound. This results in a completly fireproof inorganic package, highly resistant to solvents and impervious to moisture. Power Film: Power film types have metal oxide resistor element. |
